Terms of Service

The main terms for using Simplivo Cloud, buying the self-hosted edition, and purchasing related services.

Last updated: April 1, 2026

1. Overview

Simplivo is offered as a managed cloud product and as a self-hosted software edition. These terms apply to your use of our website, your use of Simplivo Cloud, and your purchase of related products or services from us.

2. What Simplivo Is

Simplivo is a bookkeeping and financial operations product. It is designed to help businesses capture, organize, and report everyday transactions and related records through chat and supporting workflows.

Simplivo is not tax filing software, legal advice, or a full accounting replacement. You remain responsible for your own tax, compliance, and professional accounting decisions.

3. Cloud Plans and Billing

  • Cloud plans are billed on a recurring basis according to the plan you select.
  • Features, limits, and onboarding scope may differ by plan.
  • You are responsible for paying for the plan, add-ons, or services you choose.
  • We may update pricing, packaging, or service limits in the future, but changes will not retroactively rewrite what you already purchased for a paid period.

4. Self-Hosted Purchases and Services

  • The self-hosted edition is sold separately from Simplivo Cloud.
  • Setup services, support plans, renewals, and other self-hosted services may also be sold separately.
  • Self-hosted customers are responsible for their own infrastructure, deployment environment, backups, and runtime operations unless a separate service agreement states otherwise.
  • The self-hosted edition is governed in more detail by the self-hosted license page.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not misuse Simplivo, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use it for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent activity.

We may suspend or restrict access to the cloud service if necessary to protect the service, other customers, or our business from abuse, security issues, or non-payment.

6. Product Changes

We may improve, modify, or refine the product over time. That can include changes to features, packaging, support workflows, and infrastructure as long as we continue operating the service in a commercially reasonable way.

7. Service Availability and Warranty

To the extent permitted by law, Simplivo is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Service quality can depend on product track, third-party services, customer configuration choices, and other operational factors.

We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every use case.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption arising from the use of Simplivo.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time as the product and business evolve. The latest version will be posted on this page.
